Born and raised in Toronto, Carmelo moved to Manhattan when he was 21 years old. After completing his degree in Business at Baruch College, Carmelo decided to seek a career with his true passion in the real estate industry. He quickly became one of the top producers at his firm, Brown Harris Stevens, located in downtown Manhattan. Recognized as one of the top agents, Carmelo was consistently a multi-million dollar producer in one of the toughest real estate markets in the country and ranked in the top one percent of his office. He credits his success on his knowledge of the market, proper pricing, exclusive marketing strategies and strong communication skills. His clients enjoy his energy, dedication, extreme persistence, and commitment to getting the job done. His business has been built on referrals which is a true testament to his clients’ satisfaction.
One of the decisions that led to Carmelo’s move to Denver was his partner’s real estate investment company which has been based in Denver since 2002. They both felt there were synergies with the two businesses. They also wanted to raise their family in a city with a little slower pace than Manhattan. Since Carmelo has been vastly involved in his partner’s real estate business from its inception, he already had a strong knowledge and understanding of the Denver real estate market.
Given the prestigious credentials of the previous firm that he worked for, Carmelo was determined to find a company with similar qualifications- which led him to Kentwood City Properties. Kentwood Real Estate is recognized in Denver as the highest producing real estate firm, while offering the most knowledgeable, caring, and experienced sales team. By joining Kentwood City Properties and the Mile Hi Modern team Carmelo brought his passion for architecture, design and real estate into full throttle! In 2011, Carmelo was recognized with a company award for producing more than $10 million in sales volume. In 2012, Carmelo produced more than $18 million in sales, proving himself as a very strong player in the Denver Real Estate Arena!
When Carmelo is not working, he enjoys spending time with his partner and their sons. An authentic Italian cook and wine enthusiast Carmelo is quite the host! He enjoys his down time with his family, running and snow boarding.
